Your Community

This is where you can make a huge difference to our work by using your contacts and influence within your community.

SDPP is eager to engage with groups and clubs within Surrey to not only raise awareness of our work, but to also raise vital funds.

Can you help?

As the saying goes ‘It’s not what you know, but who you know’.

  • Are you or a family member/friend associated with a local Rotary Club?
  • Are you a member of a sports club or church who may be willing to lend their support to SDPP?
  • Do you know the Club Captain at the local golf club who would select SDPP as their chosen charity?
  • Does your neighbour work for a company that may be willing to put SDPP forward for support?
  • Does your child attends a school/university which holds fundraising activities through the year for other charities – so why not SDPP?

The list is endless... so get thinking.

SDPP will happily provide you with a speaker to give you a greater insight into our important work and help you every step of the way with fundraising materials and support.

If you are part of a group or club who are interested in supporting SDPP or you know a group or club who may be interested, please email hayley@sdpp.org.uk or call 01483 735895

Morrisons Solicitors staged an evening of Mulled Wine and Minced Pies at their Woking Office in December for SDPP. The event was a huge success, helping the charity to raise vital funds and network with local businesses. Thank you Mark and the whole Morrisons Solicitors family for your continued support.

NEW VICTORIA THEATRE WOKING

On the 19th and 20th December 2013, SDPP staged collections at New Victoria Theatre Woking, following their Pantomime performances. SDPP would like to thank everyone who dug deep and donated. Also SDPP would like to thank all the staff of New Victoria Theatre Woking for their ongoing support and all those who volunteered their time to the collection.

Surrey Disabled People’s Partnership would like to express our sincerest thanks and gratitude to the Community Foundation for Surrey.

The Community Foundation for Surrey has generously donated funds towards our vital Mole Valley Foot Care Project.

Thank you again for this wonderful support!

Surrey Disabled People’s Partnership is delighted to have the generous support of The Wisley Foundation.

The Wisley Foundation’s support will ensure SDPP are able to provide our vital home visiting foot care service to 60 elderly clients living in Surrey.

Thank you to all involved at The Wisley Foundation for believing in SDPP and for making this wonderful donation possible.

Waitrose Community Matters

Do you or a close friend or family member shop or work for a Waitrose in Surrey?

All we kindly ask is you nominate SDPP to the Community Matters Coordinator or Store Manager, then either email hayley@sdpp.org.uk or call 01483 735895 and let us know you have suggested SDPP and to which store. We will then follow this up and then hopefully be selected for their Community Matters Scheme in store.

Alternately, if you already see SDPP selected as a Community Matters Charity, please pop your little green token in our slot!
