We are now recruiting for a Finance Officer to join our busy team                    

We are looking for a Finance Officer, to work part time, to support the delivery of SDPP’s financial strategy; ensuring diligence and efficiency in all aspects of the financial management of the Charity.

16 hours per week       |     Staines Town Centre      |      £13,000 per annum

The Role

You will work in our busy office, maintaining all aspects of financial activity including – income and expenditure, invoices and expenses, bank reconciliations, monthly/quarterly/annual accounting. You will manage the staff payroll and work with senior management in the preparation of budgets. This role offers technical support to the CEO and Board in the overall financial management of the Charity. You have 1 direct report, an Accounts Assistant whom you will supervise, support and develop.

The Person

You will be a highly experienced administrator and finance professional, with exemplary attention to detail and accuracy. You will have developed excellent communication skills and take a methodical, organised approach to your responsibilities. Supervisory experience is desirable to provide supervision for the Accounts Assistant. You will also be able to use your own initiative and work flexibly.

An interest in social equality and disability issues is helpful.

AAT Part /Fully qualified is desirable, equivalent experience is essential
